I’m installing MediaWiki and have never used Composer, but now I’m gonna. Let’s see how it goes!

Apparently I don’t need it to install. And install I have. But it is used to install Semantic Mediawiki and plenty of related extensions, so…
Okay, first thing I had to do was mess with my name. Because I hate MediaWiki specifically for how it renders my name. So I activated the RenameUser extension and moved User:MAIKI
, which just annoys me, to User:マイキ
. Because we live in a connected world, that is how I write my name, and maiki is never capitalized at the beginning. Ugh.

When one installs MediaWiki they choose the project meta namespace. This one is called Engineering.
