And then we got washed out four blocks from home and had to run away! C is taking a hot shower, and after this we are gonna chill.

Hectic day, lots of anxious moments, lots of emotions. But nothing bad happened. Fiance and my sister coping with a lot of anxiety sources right now.

Dusted off my proprietary Faeria account and been playing quick games of that when I need a distraction.

Sorry to hear that! I’m really glad to not be in your family (until after the wedding) right now! Everything sounds stressful!

A few days ago we got a “3 day or quit” notice, claiming we owed Feb. and March’s rent. We, on the other hand, believed we were credited for two months during which it rained inside our apartment.

I emailed the accounts person at my property management company. That should be strange for two reasons:

  1. Do you know the email of your property management accounts and billing person?
  2. I actually replied to a thread from last April explaining the exact same scenario.

And then I get a reply today, a few days later, not fully knowing if I suddenly own over $3k in back rent, I get a casual email explaining, oh yeah, we zeroed out the charges on the account.

Da fuck! They are such lizard people! I asked for the credit on Jan. 29. They send me a threatening letter, and then cover the charges like this was just a misunderstanding and no, they would never kick us out, they just like sending us a copy in the mail, having our property manager mail us one, and has our property manager slide a copy under our fucking door!

So what do I do? They won’t change themselves, but who will?

The reason I am thinking about this and logging it is because I feel so drained and depressed. The property management company also sent us a letter saying someone was leaving garbage in the hallways (I’ve never seen this) and it was attracting maggots (?!) and if the one or two tenants doing it didn’t stop we would all be charged a fee to hire cleaners… I’m just really busy, and I feel like this is going to take a lot of time. I also think our bedroom window in coming loose…

My heart says do the work, stand up for us here and now, it will work out. My brain says they can have, the fuckers, just get away from them as fast as possible.
