Simplicity for hire

I essentially took a year off to play with tech and figure some stuff out. I stayed at home with my kid and broke tons of web software. I stayed on top of my craft, so I didn’t expect to be surprised going back up to full time.

The largest adjustment is that the service I offer is different, or perhaps I just have a clue now. In the past I was a technology solutions person: a client would explain their problem, and I would solve it. Now the universe, in the form of new clients who want to pay me, is telling me that I offer simplicity: they need a website, and they need to not think about it.

I am navigating that subtlety, and when I encounter a difference in my workflow it is jaunting, and then satisfying.
