I was thinking about something and running my hands through my hair. After a while I realized I was holding it up in a topknot/ponytail, and it held all my hair. I haven’t had this much hair in years!
So I went in the bathroom to put it up.
I have a lot of white hair. And silver, I guess. And gray.
I think I was a teen when I last wore my hair like this habitually. I shaved recently, so the combination shows this younger version of me, but only in style. My eyes, hair, wrinkles, everything about me has aged. I had in mind this person underneath the great big bushy beard and curly fro. Now I see that person has grown.
