The part of this story I find fascinating is how it makes us all have to acknowledge “currency” is a made-up, regulated system. And the folks running the currency have methods to enforce their system (the regulatory bit). If you are going to make up your own currency, just profit in the short-term and pay taxes, like video game publishers.
