Going to be buying a plugin hybrid very shortly; and while work allows me to charge for free Plugshare lists other free chargers where I live these days. Though some of them are listed as free if you have a Chargepoint card.
Electrify America is building a bunch of chargers this summer up and down the I95 corridor here in NC. Which also might be conveniently located.
