Ugh. Whenever something gets into “billions” I don’t trust it. What the hell are you going to do with Gitlab if you have that much money? I can only think it’ll be oodles of extra features most people don’t want + requiring a more robust server.

So glad we moved allthe.codes to gitea. Gitlab was getting unwieldy, and each version brought so much documentation it was becoming difficult to solve issues, particularly during upgrades. Not a great scenario for any project.
People stop making reasonable decisions when that much “value” is involved.
