iTerm, other terminal alternatives for Mac OS X

Continuing the discussion from I cannot get this tune out of my head:

I’ve just been using the stock terminal app that comes in Mac OS X. I am starting to use it more and more, so it is getting annoying. I presume @tim checked other apps, but wanted to open up discussion about preference there. Is iTerm the hotness? Is it the Notepad++ of Mac OS X? :slight_smile:

Yeah, thats the one!

I actually haven’t done any research into which one is the best, I heard from several people that this was the one to get.

I use it because I love having several tabs open, each with 4 terminals, via splitting the pane.
