So, I’m back, back again!
What am I playing? Monster Hunter Rise for the Switch, and gee is it addicting! Right now I have Tetrandon armor and a Kali Yuka hammer(I think I mostly spelled those right…). Working on hunting the 3rd rank monsters now!

Okay, how is it compared to other games?
I’ve always wanted to get into Monster Hunter, but each time I was offline and the single player beginning was just so slow for me. As in, it literally takes a long time to animate the swings.
But now I’ve got a Switch and I’m all about some online MMO thing on it, and I’ve played both demos, but I’m still hitting that same wall of everything being a bit slow.
Are you new to MH? Does one become used to that pacing?
