Just a double-check in before I push this forward: I am going to create a jabber service for talkgroup.xyz.
The reason is that I prefer jabber for IM one on one (I am on the fence if I like it as much for conferencing with multiple folks, as opposed to centralized services like IRC and Rocket.Chat). And I considered running a service so my jabber address would match my email, but I don’t want to give out accounts for interi.org. That, combined with wanting to host jabber for others, and not wanting more than one server to maintain, makes me lean to using a domain specific for it.
And talkgroup is already for communicating, so it shouldn’t be a problem!
But I wanted feedback. So give that.
