chores today. did all my dishes, laid out fruit fly traps (just cups of apple cider vinegar), replaced air filter on box fan, gonna take out trash.
yesterday spot was gonna open for decadence but i almost passed out after sound check so i didn’t sing. it’s kinda sad. some days i feel much sicker than others.
We are reviewing place values, up to 1,000. We switched math textbooks a few weeks ago, and this one is much easier for us to grok, in large part because it comes with a teacher’s guide. I printed “place value discs”, which is to say circles with 1, 10, and 100 written on them.
We also covered more map grids in geography; Clover noted the latest map had all the elements we’ve studied: a map grid, a map key, and a compass rose. It’s been fun referencing the map we got of Redwood Park when we visited recently. 
I’m at the Lakeview Library, do big network stuff.
