Cost of driving, lives

Of the most recent three generations in my family, the deaths that I know of were my grandparents, my uncle and my brother. One grandparent died of complications associated with old age, while the other three deaths were from accidents in a car, a motorcycle and an ATV.

Mike suggests banning human drivers, with one benefit being the safety of human lives. Through working with the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition, I’ve gotten a sense of how ubiquitous car culture is. Taking steps to remove human error from it seems like a good idea.
