For a couple days all the carbon monoxide alarms in our building are beeping due to low batteries. Our started beeping a while ago, kinda freaked me out. I’m not gonna get taken out by carbon monoxide!

Anyhow, even replacing batteries from property manager didn’t stop the beeping, so we are sans a sensor until it is figured out.

OMFG, carbon monoxide is out to get me!

I have learned, after much, much beeping that sometimes older alarms beep because it’s a “hey I am old and my spiffy detector isn’t reliable anymore.”

Helpful detectors have a breakdown of what the beep patterns mean on them. Unhelpful detectors do not.
