I was looking up the release and end-of-life info for Ubuntu in that other thread, and I came upon ubuntu-support-status

Okay, I get the no download apps; some of those are snaps, some are weirder stuff, or maybe PPAs. Kinda weird to be listed there, but whatevs.
But what the hell with the other stuff?! That is, like, a lot of packages! So what does that mean, exactly? I am not particularly worried, but I can’t find a lot of info about that. Figured I’d do a quick survey to see what percentage of everyone’s home system is “unsupported”.
Also, I am looking forward to 18.04! I already use GNOME, so I can pretentiously declare myself a victor!
