Do you still keep babby in mind when you write? How has that changed as C gets bigger?
I do not. And that was an important revelation to me.
First of all, what I mean is that when I write to the world, to the future, as a legacy, I’d hold my child in mind. For other things I have a target audience.
But with these big ideas, big feelings, I couldn’t always write to Clover, or keep em in mind. Because I often confront some portion of myself in flux because of my interactions with Clover.
Another way of saying it is: I write to myself.
Clover will get it eventually, or not. When I write about how I feel, what happened, how I relate to the world, I have speak to myself, before I can speak to my child.
